Alien Captain

An alien vessel's commanding officer, encountered when his ship crosses paths with the Planet Express crew. He carries himself with the clipped authority of someone used to being obeyed, barking orders and sizing up the humans with a mix of suspicion and bureaucratic impatience typical of Futurama's parade of spacefaring officials.

He's the kind of one-scene role Futurama specializes in: a fully committed alien authority figure who exists to complicate the plot for a few minutes and then vanish. David Herman gives him a gruff, no-nonsense bark that lands the joke without needing to oversell it, the vocal equivalent of a background extra who somehow steals his moment.
