Alex 'Tig' Trager

Tig is the club's sergeant-at-arms, the enforcer who solves problems with his fists and his gun before anyone else can suggest otherwise. Volatile and unpredictable, he's fiercely loyal to Clay and to SAMCRO, quick to violence, quicker to laugh about it after. He's the guy you don't want to provoke and the one the club sends in first.

Kim Coates plays Tig on a live wire — twitchy, feral, capable of horror one scene and genuine tenderness the next, often within the same breath. The writing keeps threatening to make him a punchline of pure id, then keeps pulling back to show a man aware of exactly what he is. That contradiction, never resolved, is what makes him impossible to look away from.
