Alan Zaveri

Alan is a creature of order: color-coded, punctual, composed, a man who has built his whole self around control after a relationship implodes right before he meant to propose. He is polite, self-punishing, and quietly falling apart, soon caught in the same impossible loop unsettling Nadia across town.

Barnett plays Alan's precision as armor rather than quirk, so every tidy gesture reads as a man barely holding together. He is the show's stillness against Nadia's noise, and the writing uses that contrast to widen what the story is actually about: two very different ways of refusing to be helped.
