Aeryn Sun

A hardened Peacekeeper officer, Aeryn Sun is thrown into the company of the escaped prisoners and one lost human astronaut she's ordered to hunt. Trained since birth to obey and to kill without hesitation, she views the ragtag crew of Moya with contempt at first — until circumstance strands her among them, cut off from the only life she's known.

Claudia Black plays her like a soldier learning a new language from scratch, every flicker of curiosity or warmth arriving as if against her own will. The show is careful not to soften her too fast, so when she does bend, it costs her something. That friction between discipline and discovery is what makes her magnetic.
