"Additional Voices" is not a face in the crowd at Planet Express but the crowd itself — every one-off alien, barking mutant, or gruff stranger who wanders through New New York for a single scene, given breath by John DiMaggio between his main duties as Bender. No single want, no fixed manner: just whoever the script needs that week.

The joke of animation credits is that a whole world's background hum comes from a handful of throats, and DiMaggio's is one of the show's most elastic. He can drop into a sewer mutant's growl or a passing bureaucrat's whine without breaking stride, and that unglamorous flexibility is exactly what makes Futurama's universe feel populated rather than empty.
