Additional Voices

"Additional Voices" is less a character than a rotating cast of one-off aliens, background scientists, panicked bystanders, and passing weirdos who pop up for a line or two across the Citadel and beyond. Whoever they are in a given scene, they want whatever the joke needs them to want, and they vanish the moment it lands.

The credit is a running gag in itself: Chris Parnell, already voicing Jerry, sneaks into a dozen other mouths per season, and the fun is spotting his cadence under a new pitch or accent. It's a testament to how densely the show packs its world with disposable, fully-committed bit parts.
