Adam Goldberg

The youngest of the Goldberg clan, Adam is an 80s kid obsessed with movies, VHS camcorders, and pop culture ephemera, forever filming his chaotic family for posterity. He's awkward, sweet-natured, and a little clueless about girls, navigating middle school while dodging his mother's suffocating affection and his older siblings' teasing.

Sean Giambrone plays Adam with an earnest, unguarded quality that keeps the show's nostalgia from curdling into cynicism — he genuinely believes in the movies and music he loves. His camcorder framing device turns him into both participant and chronicler, giving the sitcom's warmth a real narrative engine rather than just an excuse for wistful voiceover.
