Adam Braverman

Adam Braverman is the steady older brother in a sprawling extended family, a devoted husband and father trying to hold his own household together while everyone around him leans on him for stability. He's responsible almost to a fault, quietly anxious, and more comfortable managing other people's crises than airing his own.

Peter Krause plays decency without making it dull, finding the tension in a man who's spent his life being the reliable one and is only slowly learning he's allowed to struggle too. The show trusts small domestic moments to carry weight, and Krause's restraint makes Adam's rare cracks land hard.
