Preserved as a talking head in a jar at the Head Museum of the twenty-first century, Abraham Lincoln greets visitors with the folksy solemnity of a man who knows he's a monument. He speaks in stately, faintly absurd pronouncements, treating his bizarre afterlife as though it were simply another dignified public office to hold.

The joke is entirely in the mismatch: Maurice LaMarche plays Lincoln with total, sonorous sincerity, so the gravity of the Gettysburg-Address voice colliding with the indignity of being a bodiless head in a museum case lands every time. It's a quick, disposable gag elevated by an actor who refuses to wink at it.
