Abed Nadir

He's blunt, unbothered by social norms, and forms an unlikely, devoted friendship with Troy Barnes. He wants belonging, though he'd never phrase it that plainly.

Danny Pudi plays Abed with a flat, precise delivery that turns meta-commentary into genuine feeling rather than mere gimmick. The writing uses his outsider logic to expose what's absurd or sincere in everyone around him, and the Troy friendship gives the show its warmest, funniest throughline.
