Aaron Peel

Aaron Peel is a fabulously wealthy tech entrepreneur, first glimpsed through the eyes of the bodyguards hired to keep him alive. He is fastidious to the point of phobia—flinching from touch, eating only blended food, controlling every surface of his environment. Polished and unreadable, he treats intimacy as a security risk and people as variables to be managed.

Henry Lloyd-Hughes plays Peel's oddities with total sincerity rather than camp, so the character's germophobia and clipped affect feel like genuine psychological armor rather than a punchline. The writing keeps him just out of reach—charming, controlled, faintly sad—so watching Eve try to get close to him becomes a study in what happens when someone this guarded is finally touched.
