Aaron arrives at Rick's group as an outsider, a recruiter for the Alexandria Safe-Zone who watches from a distance before ever making contact. He's earnest and a little awkward, trying to sell strangers on trusting a walled community, all while carrying the weight of knowing how thin the line between shelter and danger really is.

Marquand plays him with a disarming gentleness rare for this world, a man who leads with vulnerability instead of a weapon. The show uses him to test whether decency can survive the apocalypse intact, and he becomes one of its steadiest moral centers precisely because he never stops flinching at violence.
